I recall many cold mornings having coffee with Kim and Laura and Brenda at Laura and Kim’s home. Kim loved to joke and laugh and had a genuine interest in people and always tried to help folks wherever she could. She will be remembered for her many sewing projects and love of textiles. We oohed and aahed over many a bin of fabric together with Brenda, another avid sewist. I have a bag, an apron, placemats and who knows what else due to Kim’s prolific sewing capacity. She encouraged my own sewing and gave me fabric and encouragement. I picture her sewing for the angels in heaven and just generally directing activities therein. She was a born woman of affairs and would have made a great CEO!
